Rambles about stuff I like.

Liebster Award

I’ve been nominated for a Liebster award by YoungInAmerica11, author of the blog How To Survive Modern Dating.

A Liebster award is awarded to a promising blogger with less than 200 followers. I’m flattered to be nominated, especially since I wouldn’t exactly consider this blog “promising”, so much as it is my rambles about dating issues I have.

Anyhoo, the Liebster award comes with conditions attached. So let’s take a look at them.

1. FLAUNT the Liebster Award on your blog page

I ‘unno about flaunt, but here’s a snappy graphic:

2. Thank the person who nominated you

Much love to Young In America 11 – links to her stuff at the top of this page.

3. Answer all my questions

If that’s what I gotta do! I remember leaving facebook so I’d avoid these types of things, but here we go!

1. What is your personal reason or goal for blogging?

Well, at first I wanted to develop the hobby of writing. So I set a goal for myself to write for 15 minutes a day, and a blog seemed like a good way to do that. At first, it was mostly ramblings about goals, sports, tv and other stuff. But lately, I’ve discovered that I’ve got a bunch of issues when it comes to dating, and writing about them everyday helps me get through them. I imagine this blog will eventually morph into my Goals blog – but for now, relish in my horrendous attempts at dating!

2. What is your favorite animal?

Dog. Dogs are cute and they give me kissenses [sic].

3. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I used to think invisibility, because I could rob banks and sneak into the girls’ locker room. But now I’m thinking I’d like something like a Jedi mind trick – then I could still rob banks and sneak into the girls’ locker room, but I could see where I’m going. (Because how can an invisible man see? If his eyes are invisible, then no light will hit his corneas!)

4. What book does everyone have to read in their life time?

I thought Siddhartha, by Herman Hesse was pretty good. It’s a gentle introduction to Buddhism, and I always feel peaceful after I read it.

5. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

I think visiting Japan would be pretty cool.

6. You just rubbed a lamp and earned three wishes from a genie. What are your wishes?

This is a nested list within a nested list, but

#1) I wish I had two kidneys of my own that worked perfectly

#2) 10 billion dollars

#3) I’m immortal and flash frozen at 25 years old.

7. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I will most likely be a professor in some University.

4. Nominate 7 ( or 11 or whatever you feel like) other bloggers and make 7 (or 11 or whatever) questions for them.

Ok, well, I think 5 will be sufficient. And I’ll nominate the first 5 bloggers who are my followers who have less than 200 followers. (EDIT: Actually, I’ll just nominate the first 5 bloggers for whom I can see who there followers are.)

So, I nominate the following:

1) TinderInTheCity

2) AriannaBlogsTV

3) BlueCollarPotSmoker

4) LifeInArcadia

5) BreakUpBoss

And here are my questions

1) What’s the one thing you would like to tell your 10 year old self?

2) What’s your favorite food in the whole wide world?

3) If you could punch any actor or actress in the face, who would it be?

4) What’s your favorite memory from high school?

5) What’s your favorite Simpsons episode.

And there we have it. Congrats to all my nominess (and thanks for reading my blog.)
